Repeat Prescriptions

NHS Ayrshire and Arran has agreed with GP practices and Community pharmacies to have a standardised time frame for ordering of repeat prescriptions. This change will commence on Monday 20th February 2023. We are asking for support from our citizens to do the following:

1. Please now allow seven working days from initially ordering your repeat prescription to collecting your medication at your community pharmacy
2. Order all of your required prescription items at the same time – your community pharmacist can facilitate alignment when required
3. If you are on regular medication for a long term condition ask your GP practice or community pharmacy if a serial (longer term) prescription would be suitable for you.

Remote Consultations

If you have an appointment for a video consultation then you can access the service here. Please do not click on this link if you do not have an appointment. You will not get a consultation without an apointment. Please phone reception on 01292 264080

If you have trouble connecting then please DO NOT call our staff. They have no ability to fix your problem, and talking to them will only delay you getting seen. You can access a help service here:

Musculoskeletal problems

Due to Covid there are a lot of patients that we are unable to see face to face. However, you can now access expert musculoskeletal advice directly without having to go through your GP. The normal face to face service is not running, but you can access a variety of self help information on the website. Please use this in the first instance.
